The first thing you do in the morning
I arrange for the day’s programme, and then go for either swimming or jogging between 5 and 6 a.m.
When are you happiest?
When preparing for a project that indicates positive results.
Greatest fear
Death of a patient and accidents
Earliest childhood memory
Traveling to Belgium with my father in the 60s, it appeared like the world had changed.
Affectionate memory of your parents
The long discussions I had with my father and advice from my mother.
Greatest achievement…
Coming back from Burundi in 1994.
What keeps you awake?
Problems that I have no immediate solutions.
The most important thing life has taught you…
People should not waste time on minor problems when major ones wait.
During your free time
I interact with my family; relax as I read current information.
Retirement plans
I will build and stay around Lake Muhazi and travel to different parts of the world.
