The long awaited Rwanda Tourism University College (RTUC) beauty contest will take place today, at Sports View Hotel, Remera.

In an interview, the Rector of RTUC Callixte Kabera, told The New Times that the number of contestants decreased from 13 to 6.

"Those who emerged best six from both sides during the training will contest for Mr. and Miss out of the 13 who trained,” Kabera said.

The event will be presided over by Rosette Rugamba, Deputy CEO Rwanda Development Board (RDB).

Local artists, including, The Ben and Meddy will perform, alongside RTUC’s comedian group lead by Austine Tenwa. MC Fab and RTUC Cultural Troop too will grace the event.
