APR Coach Erik Paske has his eyes on the group stages of the Africa Champions League; the continent’s premier club competition.
The military side will represent Rwanda in the competition after wining a record tenth league title last season.
In an exclusive interview with Times Sport, the 44-year-old said that reaching the group stages of champions league will be a big step by the club.
"Over the years, we have showed our consistency in the domestic league but we now want to go a notch higher by reaching the group stages of the Champions league,” Paske said.
"That’s the best way we can command respect on the continent. Our focus is not just to be a big power in the country and region but also on the continent,” the Dutch echoed.
With a few days left in the transfer window, Paske is still in the market for a prolific striker.
"I think the team still needs a striker who has a physical presence in the box and can keep the ball,” he added.
Paske recently penned a new contract which will expire at the end of the season.
