KIGALI - The Ugandan government recently approved Maj. Gen. Frank Mugambage as Rwanda’s new Ambassador to Uganda. Mugambage replaced Ignatius Kamali Karegyesa who has been posted to South Africa. “He presented his credentials two weeks ago and was approved by the Ugandan authorities,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Rosemary Museminali.

Mugambage replaced Ignatius Kamali Karegyesa who has been posted to South Africa.
"He presented his credentials two weeks ago and was approved by the Ugandan authorities,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Rosemary Museminali.
Before his appointment, Mugambage served as the Director of Cabinet in the Office of the President. He also served as a Commissioner General of the National Police.
In a related development, the recently appointed Rwandan ambassador to Belgium, Gerard Ntwari presented his credentials to the Belgium authorities yesterday.
Ntwari presented his credentials to King Albert II of Belgium.Karegesa is expected to present his credentials today.
