Challengers v Indorwa

INDORWA have to double their efforts when they take on pre-tournament favourites Challengers in today’s Sulfo league final at Kicukiro Oval.

Challengers have been the team to reckon with throughout the entire league.

Led by their captain Srinath Vardhineni, the team won all their group games convincingly.

Challengers topped the group standings with 23 points, a whole 14 more than Indorwa who finished second but Vardhineni has warned his side against complacency.

"It’s true that we are favourites but this is a final where the best prepared wins. We played so well at the group stages but that will be for nothing if we lose the final,” he said.

While Indorwa are chasing for a maiden Sulfo trophy, Challengers are in the hunt for their second after winning the title in 2007.
