Speciose Mukanyamibwa is the Marketing Manager of Alpha Palace Hotel in Remera. She is busy from Monday to Saturday. Sunday is the day she is free from work.

Below she tells us how she covers her weekend:

I start the weekend on Saturday evening after work. Straight away I head home to have a free and relaxed mind. After refreshment, I get down for a cup of tea while reading a novel.

I get to bed early on Saturday since I am exhausted with the day’s and week’s work.

On Sunday, I am out of bed at 7:30p.m. I attend the morning service and by 11a.m, I am home.

I prepare a meal for myself since I stay alone since my children are abroad while the youngest is at school. The meal of course can’t miss rice and peas. I relish it without any worry of work calling.

I relax a bit and have a shower. I then join my friends to enjoy the evening. This is time we focus on general challenges of life.

I enjoy the time when we exchange ideas on how to handle certain difficult situations.

The session is only limited by time, as I must get home to prepare for Monday.

That’s how perfect I spend the weekend.
