DEFENDING league champions APR have recruited four more players nine days before the transfer window closes.
Abbas Rassou, who has been featuring for Morocco’s premier league club Olympique Khouribga, will be making his second stint at the military club.
The other three are Favie Leo Cedric [midfielder], Bebeto Lwamba [striker] and Didier Kapet Kouin.
Rassou joined APR in 2005 on a two-year contract but refused to renew his contract.
He joined Hungarian first division club, VTK Diosgyor in October, 2007 before moving to Olympique Khouribga. During his time at APR, the striker steered the club to five titles; two league titles, Lotto Cup, Cecafa/Kagame Cup and Amahoro Cup.
The 23-year-old had joined APR from one of the soccer academies in Cameroon at the time when former Cameroon U-23 coach Jean Paul Akono was in charge of the club.
This year, APR has a congested schedule since they also have to compete in the Cecafa Kagame Cup and Africa Champions League on top of the local calendar that includes the national league and MTN Peace Cup.
