Rwanda Patriotic Front (Inkotanyi) has vowed to work on programmes that boost the economy in its quest to craft a better future for the country.

This was revealed at the party’s district General Assembly meeting held last Sunday in Rwamagana, attended by hundreds of RPF supporters from different sectors of the district.

Addressing the assembly, the RPF district chairman, Ntezirembeo Valens, told those in attendance that it was now conducive to evaluate successes registered while at the same time being able to review the party’s short -comings.

"We have to review our successes as we prepare to work out our challenges for the future.This will help us to enter into a new era with a better form of focus,” he added.

RPF members noted with satisfaction the country’s development outcomes, especially efforts centered around  attracting foreign investors. They also assessed the achievements of Gacaca courts.

"Gacaca courts have made tremendous success across the country. Of course there are some challenges here and there but overall what has been achieved is great,” Beline Uwineza a lawyer who attended the meeting said.

The General Assembly also took the opportunity to elect new party office holders who vowed to work with others to help the party achieve its objectives.

Meanwhile in Burera, RPF members  from Rusabuye sector, Burera district  also held their annual General Assembly in which they  mooted their future programmes.
