Big Brother Africa finally calmed the boys’ testosterones by mixing them with the belles. And now we can say that the game has ‘officially’ begun.

Although many of us thought that the guys needed the girls the more, but turns out to be that ladies were more eager to meet the guys.

After only a few hours of the mix up, it was easy to notice that relationships are going to spring up in the house very soon.

The chemistry between the opposite sexes getting attracted to each seems to baffle me. And watching how Uganda’s Hannington and Angola’s curvaceous Paloma looked so smitten with each other after only two hours of meeting was memorable.

Having been a fierce critic of Hannington’s dry humour and uncharacteristic behaviour, he really changed my opinion with the way he charmed up the ladies.

He first warmed up the Nigerian Nkenna, who barely speaks more than three words and met his match in Paloma and judging by their vibe, we already have the first relationship in the house.

Though we don’t have the shower hour and the late night uncut sessions, I can’t bet that Big Brother has a plenty of twists and surprises in the house.
