Team manager, Patrick Kayiranga who was at the forefront of luring the player to the signed the club from Goma based Virunga Football Club confirmed his (player) absence at the club as well as his country home in Goma.
"We have been told that he (Watui) is training with Manyema Union and they want to add him to their squad.
"It’s Unfortunate for them (and the player) that we still have a year and half of his contract in our books and we intend to take legal action against the Congolese club,” he said
Manyema Union will represent DRC in the CAF Confederation Cup and the midfielder is being seen as a good addition to their squad for the coming season.
The 21-year old was signed before the start of the second phase of the national football League and went on to inspired
the Huye based outfit to 9 successive league victories, which helped them to finish in a respectable fourth sport, only three points behind leaders APR and Rayon Sport.
Kayiranga insisted that the club would do everything within their powers to see that the skilled midfielder, who can also play as a striker, returns before the start of the new season that is scheduled to start on November 21.
Meanwhile, Mukura head coach has axed former Tanzanian under-20 international Chile Suke from his squad.
Rajab Bizimuremyi told Times Sport recently that the player lacks the required qualities of a good striker and he is a surplus to the club requirements.
The 22-year-old joined the club at the start of last season but later went AWOL, (Absent Without Official Leave) midway the second round. He has since returned and has been training with the club for the last two weeks.
