After six years off the spotlight, celebrated Rwandan gospel artiste Richard Nick Ngendahayo returns with a new single "Uri Byose Nkeneye” [You Are All I Need] as he embarks on a journey of faith and renewal.
Based in the United States, where he serves as a Praise and Worship leader in his local church, Ngendahayo has long been known for his spiritually rich gospel music, which once dominated local gospel airwaves with tracks such as "Wemere Ngushime”, "Ntwari Batinya”, "Mbwira Ibyushaka” and more.

His comeback track is being received as a heartfelt prayer and a musical testimony, marking yet another beginning of a new chapter in his career.
"Uri Byose Nkeneye” is more than just a song but a prayer, a longing, and spiritual declaration wrapped in a gentle yet powerful melody. It captures the essence of surrender and the deep yearning for God’s presence in the midst of life’s journey,” Ngendahayo said.
The track is accompanied by a music video that visually complements the song’s poetic message appearing in some flows where he wrote that "the gap has been filled, the lyres have been brought down, the strings have been returned.”
"A voice echoes in the wilderness, returning, resounding without ceasing— For the hour of the LORD of Hosts, the Holy One of Israel, has come,” the lyrics read.
"Let us bow before the One who sits on the Throne in the Holy of Holies and declare – You are all I need”

Ngendahayo’s last release was from the album "Niwe”, a project that earned him a loyal fanbase in Rwanda and beyond. With two albums, ‘Yambaye Icyubahiro’ and ‘Niwe,’ the new song introduces listeners to his third album, which he describes as a "journey of healing, faith, and revival.”
Homecoming concert
Ngendahayo is already thinking of staging a homecoming solo concert in Kigali after 15 years in the United States. The dates are yet to be communicated but the singer prefers coming at the end of 2025.
He may have physically been distant from Rwanda, but the singer has remained close to his roots through worship. Leading praise in his American church has kept his passion alive, and the new single "opens that journey with a clear message that in a world of uncertainty, God remains constant.”
Whether you have followed him since the early 2000s or are discovering his voice for the first time, the song offers a message that is universally relatable and spiritually uplifting.
