BARELY a week after losing their star goal keeper, Jean Luc Ndayishimiye Bakame, Atraco has lost two more players in Peter Kagabo (striker) and Charles Kawuma (defender).
The pair is said to have completed their move to Rayon Sport yesterday. Kagabo, who was phenomenon for the taxi-men last season, joined the blues on a two-year contract worth Rwf4m while Kawuma pocketed Rwf1.8m after agreeing a one-year contract.
Rayon, who have not won a trophy in three years are trying to rebuild a team capable of challenging arch-rivals APR and Atraco.
The 2004 league champions have also acquired the services of AS Kigali goalie Juma Sanganiro.
The team is also chasing the signature of former APR custodian Ramazan Nkunzingoma who was recently offloaded by DR Congo TP Mazembe.
Nkunzingoma is already undergoing trials at the blues camp.
Other players to join Rayon include former APR custodian Aime Ndanda Ndizeye, the AS Kigali trio of Bonfils Twahirwa, Pappy Gasana and Eric Habimana, Abouba Sibomana of La Jeunesse and Juma Bizimana from Electrogaz.
