Equity Market

Today the Rwanda OTC market recorded no transaction at the end of the trading session. The KCB share price remained at Rwf 165.

Wednesday on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), a total of 107,400 shares were traded.  However, KCB share price at NSE remained at 21.25 Kshs (160 Rfw) high and 20.75 Kshs (156 Rfw) low to close at 20.75 Kshs (Rwf156). The NSE All share index remained constant at 68.18.

DSE (Dares Salaam Stock Exchange and USE (Uganda Securities Exchange) did not trade KCB shares.

The Bond Market:

On the bond market no transactions were recorded.  At the close of the business, Rwf 2 billion worth of Government bonds were on offer (sellers) at Rwf 99.8 and there were two bids (buyers) of Rwf 2 billion and Rwf 5 million for the same bonds at 94.00 and 97.80, respectively. 

There were also BCR bank bonds worth Rwf 150 million on offer at Rwf 100.50.
