Pillars, Hilal in Champs League semis
Kano Pillars twice came from behind to seal a semi-final place in the African Champions League. The Nigerians beat Zambia’s Zesco United 3-2 on Sunday. Zesco were quick off the mark with Lottie Phiri opening the scoring for the visitors in the first minute.

Kano Pillars twice came from behind to seal a semi-final place in the African Champions League.
The Nigerians beat Zambia’s Zesco United 3-2 on Sunday.
Zesco were quick off the mark with Lottie Phiri opening the scoring for the visitors in the first minute.
But Victor Namo struck back for the hosts almost immediately.
Phiri made it 2-1 for the Zambians late in the first half.
This time, Kano Pillars waited until half way through the second half to reply.
Victor Namo scored the second, and Bello Musa Koformata scored the winner four minutes from time.
The result also means that Al Hilal are through to the semi-finals.
