MUHANGA — Ecobank Rwanda S.A a subsidiary of the Pan African Bank Ecobank Plc, has promised to support the private sector in Muhanga District in their development initiatives.

The Managing  Director of Ecobank Rwanda  Clement Dodo, announced this at a consultative meeting with the bank’s Muhanga clients, last week at St. Andre Kabgayi center.

"We invite the private sector to come up strongly  because the bank is going to improve its services and ease access to loans and finance development projects in the area,” Dodo said.

He remarked that the district is evidently growing faster and there is enough potential for development.

The bank is willing to finance more projects in addition to the existent ones, he said.

The Ecobank Muhanga Branch manager, Solange Ingabire, revealed that the bank’s goal is to develop an active clientele and improve the business relationship between clients and the bank.

"Our target is to have active client base depending on needs and we intend to have interpersonal business relations, consistent outreach, and training clients on various bank operations and business opportunities,” she said.

According to Cynthia Munyana, an official in charge of customer care service at the bank, the meeting was aimed at receiving feedback from the banks’ clients on various operations.

Bank officials promised to deal with their concerns and urged residents to come up with comprehensive development projects while seeking loans.
