Rwanda's national football team head coach, Carlos Alos Ferrer, has summoned seven new players to the squad that will face Sudan in two friendly games on November 17 and November 19 at Kigali Stadium.
The coach recently wrapped up a tour of Europe on a scouting mission for Rwanda’s professional players to beef up his team.
The games will help ensure the players fitness also provide a number of them with the opportunity to prove they should be selected in the national team.
New faces returning to the national team after a long time include Ally Niyonzima (Bumamuru, Burundi) Steven Rubanguka (Zimbru, Moldova) and Dominique Savio Nshuti (Police).
Goalkeeper Aime Gael Cyuzuzo (Gasogi) got his first call up. So was Arsene Tuyisenge (Rayon Sports) and SC Kiyovu forward Bienvenue Mugenzi.
