ATRACO have dismissed rumours linking them with the Ugandan quartet of SC Villa captain Simeon Masaba, Peter ‘Crouch’ Ssenyonjo (Police) and the KCC pair of Ronald Kamoga and Moses Oloya.

According to the Ugandan media, the four were reported to be close to sealing lucrative deals with the Cecafa champions but Atraco’s vice President Issa Ngeze has restated that the club has no plans of signing any of the four players.

"Those are false speculations. We have not made any approach on the quartet. That’s all I can say for now,” Ngeze said.

Atraco, who start pre-season training on Wednesday have already lost influential goalie Jean Luc Ndayishimiye ‘Bakame’ to rivals APR.

After winning the 2009 MTN Peace Cup, the taxi-men club will represent Rwanda at next year’s Africa Confederations Cup.
