CECAFA and Amahoro Cup winners Atraco have confirmed that they will start pre-season training next Wednesday.

Although a number of first team players are still locked in contract talks, the club’s assistant Coach Emmanuel Ruremesha is confident they (players) will have signed by next Wednesday.

Players who fall in this category include team captain Jean Shyaka, Peter Kagabo, Andre Lomani and Ugandan International Hamis Kitagenda.

"What is important is that they have agreed terms with the club so what’s left is for them to receive the signing on fee to seal the deal,” Ruremesha said.

The taxi-men side narrowly missed out on a treble after being edged to the league title by fellow giants APR on the last day of the season.
