Kiyovu Sports host Rayon at the Kigali Stadium in a local derby on Friday, November 11 in a Rwanda Premier League week 9 encounter.

Rayon are on top of the table with 18 points having won all the six games they played. Kiyovu who have honored eight games are second with 17 points.

The game on Friday will be the 14th meeting between the two clubs. Rayon have the upper hand having won seven games, lost four and drawn two. Kiyovu boasts four wins, seven defeats and two draws.

Abedi Bigirimana

The Kiyovu Sports offensive midfielder who won the league's best player award in the 2021/22 season has been a pale shadow of himself this campaign as he is yet to find his rhythm.

Though Bigirimana is yet to come to the party, he is a player well noted for big games and he could be the deciding factor.

Last season, he netted a superb free kick against Rayon Sports at the same venue as his side cruised to a 2-0 win.

Felix Ndekwe

One of Rayon Sports’ best players this season, Ndekwe has been very dominant on the flanks.

His pace and artistry were very instrumental for Rayon Sports and he is very clinical around the penalty box. He netted a stunner in Rayon's last game against Sunrise FC.

Ally Serumogo

A marauding right back, Serumogo is a delight to watch on any day.

He joins the attack with his overlapping runs and he is able to track back and defend.

Serumogo remains the leader in Kiyovu's defense and so much will depend on him if they are to excel.

Samuel Ndizeye

Rayon Sports have been impregnable at the back, conceding only three goals in six games this season.

Rayon's solid defense is largely due to the exploits of their deputy skipper, Samuel Ndizeye.

The Burundian is a pillar at the back of the Blues. He has put up superb performances in all the league games. He will be the player to carry Rayon Sports in the titanic clash.

Eric Mbirizi

The Burundian international is having a great debut season with Rayon Sports and has been among their top players.

Capable of playing in attack as well as in offensive midfield, Mbirizi has great footwork, flair and above all, an eye for goal.

He has been vital to the fortunes of Rayon Sports already this season anytime he featured.
