Hans, who will be navigated by Zambian and African top navigator David Sihoka is the lone Tanzanian representative after Randeep Birdi withdrew from the event due to lack of effective sponsorship to back the long and expensive mission.
Hans wants to wage a fierce battle to ensure Tanzania ends victorious in the event.
"We are working over time to get everything in place before leaving for Kigali early next week,”
The young wheeler qualified for the Pirelli finals after beating seven other contestants in the Kenyan Safari rally.
Other drivers competing for the title include Raaji Barij (Kenya), Peter Horsey (Kenya), Alex Horsey (Uganda), Mathew Adrianjafy (Madagascar), Essa Mohammed (Zambia), Chase Atwell (Zimbabwe) and Megane Varleque (South Africa).
On top of a multi-million euro contract, the winner of the Pirelli Star driver will also participate in next year’s World rally championship.
