Alfred Mutua, Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, will visit Rwanda on Friday, November 11.
Without divulging details, the Kenyan High Commission to Rwanda told The New Times that he is coming on a courtesy call aimed at "seeking ways to further the two countries’ relations.”
Mutua was named Kenya’s Foreign Secretary late September when President William Ruto was appointing the new cabinet.
Meanwhile, Kenya has been at the helm of discussions on peace and security in the DR Congo.
Earlier this year, a six-day consultative discussion on peace and security in the DR Congo was held in Nairobi, Kenya.
Kenya’s former president, Uhuru Kenyatta, reassured support in the journey towards peace, and reiterated the value of peace in the DR Congo and the region.
