In a bid to cop with the competition from the region and good service delivery, Rwanda’s national carrier, Rwandair, is set to open up an office in Kenya, a top official in the company revealed.
According to the carrier’s Marketing and Corporate Communications manager, Michael Peter Otieno, the official opening of the office is scheduled to take place on the 10th of September 2009.
The opening of the new office comes days after the carrier announced the buying of two new aircrafts which would cost it Rwf7.9 billion ($14 million).
Also in order to deliver better services, the carrier introduced a third frequency flight to Nairobi, Kenya and fifth to Johannesburg.
