The expo known as ‘Pavel Expo Exhibition’ will take place at the UMA exhibition grounds, Lugogo Kampala from September 15 to 17.
According to organizers, this will be the first of its kind to be hosted by an East African country.
The exhibition is meant to provide a platform for companies in that sector to showcase their products or services and also offer consumers insight intowhat is available on the market.
Speaking to The New Times, Godfrey Ssali, one of the organizers of the event, said that they are yet to confirm from Rwandan companies on whether they will participate in the exhibition but other companies from USA, Kenya, Germany, Southern Sudan, Burundi, DRC and China had confirmed participation.
The products to be showcased in the three-day exhibition under the lighting section include; stage lighting, concert lighting, consultancy design and multimedia systems.
In the visual section, TV and AV distribution, video system and editing system will be exhibited while; amplifiers, acoustical products, cables and audio connectors, architectural audio and conference system will feature in the audio section.
According to Ssali, the expo is open for all stakeholders and the general public and it aims at bringing together all service providers, manufacturers, distributors, users and customers of the products across the region under one roof.
Pavel Expo will create an interactive platform for sourcing equipment, open new markets for the participants, uplift operation standards in the entertainment industry.
