“Lucky are those who have no problems,” frequently says a friend. His mind is confined to problems. He spends his entire day thinking about his personal, family and emotional problems.
"Lucky are those who have no problems,” frequently says a friend. His mind is confined to problems. He spends his entire day thinking about his personal, family and emotional problems.
Nothing can ever erase it from his mind that he has more problems than anyone has ever had.
Apparently, we keep sulking about the many problems that we have. It’s not far-fetched to identify life as a problem solving process.
Accepting that problems are a part of life is too complicated for human nature. Some situations put us to questions like why me? , am I cursed? or perhaps have I been bewitched?
As a matter of fact, problems are human and no human being can ever live minus problems.
Even the rich cry, neither money nor class can guarantee a problem free life.
Living through the heap of problems is only through living for the moment.
Living for the moment will give you the satisfaction and happiness even when you are undergoing major challenges in life.
Plainly defining ‘living for the moment’, it refers to seizing the opportunity to enjoy happy moments without thinking of what we have to do next.
As problems become part and partial to us, we barely notice the perfect moments in our lives. Moments which come once in a lifetime.
But if we took the opportunity to live like it’s the last day we are living, I assure you happiness would be our routine visitor.
"Life is all about enjoying what you have at present, it maybe a conversation, an outing or extraordinary people,” says Elijah Habinshuti.
Living for the moment has the power to revive your moods and make life more meaningful.
When you live for the moment, the problem at hand is perfecting the moment. All one does is enjoying every bit of the moment and making it last forever.
Imagine if we could work towards perfecting every single moment in life, the world would be the best place to be.
"The moments that we determinedly live for become long-lasting in our memories,” says Ignatius Mutabazi.
As many toil to even get one good memorable event in life, people who live for the moment will always have what to cherish and consolation for their problems.
Living for the moment makes one view a better future ahead of them and more than ever have the guts to reach out for it.
Leaving for the moment doesn’t mean doing wild things; it’s more of perfecting the day to day things that you do.
You can make a moment last for ever for someone through the way you talk to them or through loving them unconditionally.
Its always simple perfected things that will win you all the favor. Living for the moment also refers to not thinking about tomorrow at that particular time.
I don’t mean that we shouldn’t plan for the future; the simple logic behind living for the moment is perfecting whatever we are doing at the particular time.
And if you perfect something it will obviously bring the best harvest.
"When you do things while thinking about others, you won’t perfect any of them, concentration comes with thinking of one particular thing at a time,” says Mutabazi.
As we face life boldly, let’s not let best moments slip off. You never know what tomorrow will bring, live today.
