German instructor praises local coaches

Amavubi Stars assistant coach Eric Nshimiyimana received praise after completing a four-day refreshers’ course. The clinic was conducted by German instructor Roth Muller.

Nshimiyimana, together with Baptiste Kayiranga (Rayon Sport), Emmanuel Ruremesha, Sam Timbe’s assistant (Atraco) and Ali Bizimungu (Mukura) were among the 40 local coaches, who attended the clinic which centered on game tactics, defensive and psychological training.

In his closing remarks, Muller said that he was impressed by how most of the coaches were well versed with the modern game.

"Most of them are well versed with the modern game. In fact, some of them are capable training the national team,” Muller said.

Muller, who is the president of the German coaches Union, has recently been linked to be Ukraine’s next manager.
