SIX football academies from Uganda, Burundi, Congo and Rwanda are set to take part in a two-day youth football tournament at Regional stadium.

The teams include Hormisadallen Primary school (Uganda),Le Messanger (Burundi), Lion (Rwanda), Impala (Rwanda), Nyiragongo(Congo) and APR Academy.

Every Academy will compete in three age groups; 6-8yrs, 9-12yrs and 13-15yrs.

APR Academy coach Rene Kalimunda has already predicted a competitive tournament.

"The matches will be very competitive because kids of that age are always very eager to impress.
