Last Sunday, Groupe Scolaire Officiel Indatwa de Butare, held a concert in memory of its former headmaster, Father Emmanuel Kayumba.
Various local stars were invited and they did justice to the word concert. In short, they blew the roof off with hysterical students screaming their lungs out.
Patrick Kayigire, the head of discipline at school, explained the objective of the day.
"We planned this in memory of Father Emmanuel Kayumba who did so many things for the school, he will be remembered forever,” Kayigire said.
The artists who rocked the school included, P Fly, Bull Dog, Mike, Rozy, Dream Boys, Rhino G, Rock Hills, M Kare, DJ Happy and DJ Lil.
Platini Nemeye from the Dream Boys said the priest death was a loss that was irreplaceable. Father Kayumba died this year in February.
