Rwanda’s Gorilla FC failed to power through to the quarter-finals of this year’s Hima-Mak 10s tournament played at Kyadondo grounds.

The Gorilla rugby team which was pooled against the region’s best clubs namely Hima Impis of Uganda, Mean Machine in Pool A failed to qualify to the Cup quarter-finals.

The Gorillas lost to Mean Machine 3-12 and Impis 0-34 in Pool A games.

By press time, MTN Heathens which finished second in Pool D was expected to set up a quarter-final clash with rivals Telecom Kobs in the Makerere Hima 10s international Rugby tournament yesterday.

G4 Pirates was expected to take on Kenyan side, Mean Machines while Hima Impis faced Kenyan giants Nakuru.
