I am impressed by the ultimate decision John Rutayisire the Executive Secretary of RNEC has made as regards students who cheat in the exams.
The jail sentence of two years or suspension from school is a good wake-up-call to the students who have always wanted to depend on cheating for promotion to the next class.
It is unfair for some students to work hard in order to achieve good grades while others idle around and wait to get free marks. This kind of punishment will train students to reap what they have sowed.
