The crusade dubbed "Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever” is slated for November 9 - 11 at Amahoro stadium in Remera.
"We believe this will be the first of its kind in Rwanda by Pastor Kayanja, God has given him a message for this country,” said Pastor Richard Masaba, the Assistant crusade Director and coordinator.
Pastor Masaba added that "God spoke to Pastor Kayanja to begin mass crusades in Africa; one of them took place in Nairobi where prophecies through pastor Kayanja were fulfilled.”
Pastor Robert Kayanja is the founder of the Robert Kayanja Ministries and a Senior Pastor for Rubaga Miracle Centre Cathedral in Kampala, Uganda. The Cathedral seats over 10,500 worshippers.
Robert Kayanja was born in Masooli, an impoverished village in central Uganda. He was called at the age of 17 and launched into the ministry of evangelisation at the age of 22.
He is one of the most acclaimed gospel preachers who have been hosted on some of the most widely viewed Christian television networks; the Trinity Broadcasting Network and Daystar Television Network among other.
The crusade will include the Girl Power convention headed by his wife evangelist Jessica Kayanja, who is also the founder of the Girl Power Ministries International based in Uganda.
The convention is organised for all females from all religious affiliations.
The agenda of the crusade also includes a conference for Pastors from all districts of Rwanda and other from Congo, Burundi, Tanzania, Kenya and other parts of the world.
Pastor Kayanja’s crusade in Rwanda comes after a series of other visiting pastors such as Evangelists Cecil Stuart, Joyce Meyer and Rick Warren among others.
