Editor,
I always wonder when we Africans shall learn the value of quick and quality service.
It is high time service men and women of this bank (Ecobank-Rwanda) knew the value of giving fast and quick service more especially in this era of globalization, and competition
Somebody needs to seek services at Ecobank these days to experience the ‘real stereotype’ that defines quality services in Africa or Rwanda for that matter.
It was last week when I reached at Ecobank main branch en route to Butare for research, but what I experienced at this so called pan African bank, oh my... it ruined the whole of my day.
There was no connection and I decided to give the benefit of doubt and waited for some time when connection flashed back briefly, I tried to convince the department concerned to assist me and let me withdraw as early as possible because I had already paid for the return ticket to Butare.
I wonder why the so called Customer Care Commission was introduced this year because of the mindset and attitude of service providers.
I honestly hate to complain but I couldn’t let this one with out a piece of my mind due to the arrogance I observed at this bank. I had to borrow some cash when the money I sweat for was lying at Ecobank’s safe.
Please Ecobank-Rwanda borrow a leaf from your sister company in Uganda or Kenya. They will teach you how the ‘client is a king’.
