Seraphine Mukeshimana is the Manager of "We Are The Future” (WAF), an NGO aiming at uplifting children and youths in ICT training, Sports and Art work.
She is also attached to the Good governance department of Kigali City Council on behalf of the NGO. Below, she tells us how she goes about her work day:
I wake-up at 5a.m, pray and go for a shower. I have breakfast and set-off for work.
Depending on the programme, I may either first go to the Headquarters of the NGO in Kimisagara or straight to Kigali City Council.
By 7a.m I must have arrived at office. I set the day’s programme as soon as I get to work.
Although work varies with the days` programme, my work includes organizing meeting with different stake holders, preparing new programmes and ensuring clear implementation alongside organizing monthly reports.
I normally have lunch at mid-day. I stop work at 6p.m and go home. I have a shower as soon as I reach home. And organize to engage in some house work.
By 8:30p.m I have supper and go to bed after an hour.
