FDRL kills three Rwandan pastoralists, takes one hostage

GOMA - yesterday, at least three pastoralists were reportedly killed and one kidnapped by  rebels of the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDRL) at Kibungu in Bwisha, Rucuru zone in North Kivu.

GOMA - yesterday, at least three pastoralists were reportedly killed and one

kidnapped by  rebels of the Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda (FDRL) at Kibungu in Bwisha, Rucuru zone in North Kivu.

FDLR is an outfit made up of some of those who took part in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda.

Among those killed were Nkotanyi Rindiro, a resident of Mutovu cell in Bugeshi sector, and Nyarutsirika of Kabari cell in Kanzenze

sector of Rubavu district in the Western Province.
When contacted, both Executive Secretaries of Bugeshi and Kanzenze

sectors, confirmed the incident.

"I was told that he (Nkotanyi Rindiro) had gone to see his cows with his friends  at the that time,” Erick Kabera, the Executive Secretary of Bugeshi said on phone
Security sources believe that the kidnapped man was a Rwandan but we could not get his identification..

According to the security sources, FDRL are killing innocent civilians as their tactic to protest Presidents Paul Kagame and Joseph Kabila and decision to stabilise theregion and eradicate them.
