Weasel not giving up on Sandra Teta
Weasel’s love story with Sandra Teta may have had a shocking end but there are signs that the Ugandan musician is ready to give his all to get her back.
The mother of two is enjoying life in Kigali a few months after she left Uganda with her children and travelled back to Kigali accompanied by her parents who had earlier gone to Kampala after photos surfaced on social media platforms showing a severely bruised face of Teta, with suggestions she had been battered by Weasel.
When she celebrated her birthday on November 4, Weasel h put all the beef aside and wished her a happy birthday in an Instagram post that he deleted minutes later.
The reason he deleted the post remains unknown but a sign that Weasel still has Teta close to his heart. Will they get back together? Only time will tell.
Miss Rwanda 2022 dismisses love affair reports
"My crush” is the caption that Rwandan rapper Fuego attached to a post of his photo with Miss Rwanda 2022 Divine Nshuti Muheto.
The post sparked mixed reactions on social media with the majority convinced that the rapper hinted that he is in a relationship with Muheto but the beauty queen was quick to dismiss any love affair linking her with Fuego.
"We are just friends. I think he was just joking [about the post caption] because there is no love between us,” she said.
Fuego is a son of Belgium-based Jeanine Noach whose name was also in the limelight after her recent breakup with cultural musician Ibrahim Cyusa.
The rapper often meets Muheto through his cousin Naomi Nishimwe, Miss Rwanda 2020.
Rwanda’s Mugabekazi eyes international beauty crown
Local beauty pageants may be on a temporary halt but Queen Ndahiro Mugabekazi isn’t sleeping on international opportunities, with her eyes now set on the Miss University Africa 2022 crown.
Mugabekazi was one of the Miss Rwanda 2022 finalists and she took home the Miss Photogenic title. She now looks to use her experience at the local beauty pageant as she pushes for another crown at the international beauty contest.
After she was selected to represent the country at Miss University Africa 2022, the beauty queen is now mobilizing votes from the public by liking her picture on the pageant’s Instagram page.
The picture with the highest number of likes will get automatic PASS to the top 10 contestants who will go through to the decisive rounds of the beauty contest.
Hillsong London coming back to Kigali
The last time Hillsong London performed in Kigali three years ago, gospel music enthusiasts showed them so much love. They want to feel the same when they arrive in the Rwandan capital before the end of 2022.
BK Arena is ready and set to host the mega-concert taking place November 25.
Their much-anticipated concert remains one of the biggest highlights that shaped the showbiz scene last week.
This will be the second time that the celebrated contemporary music group will be singing in Rwanda, having held their first concert in the country in 2019.
