OUT: Olivier Karekezi is on the look out for a new club and some sources claim his next stop could be in England.

Amavubi Stars skipper Olivier Karekezi has ruled himself out of the upcoming international friendly match against Tanzania.
Karekezi told the local media early this week that he will not be present for selection for the game set for August 12 at Amahoro stadium because he’s busy looking for a new club in Europe.

"I’m very busy at the moment, chasing for a new club in Europe, so I will not be available for the friendly match against Tanzania.

"But I believe my teammates will win even without me. The team needs to win the Tanzania friendly to gain back confidence  ahead of our next 2010 World Cup qualifier against Egypt next month,” Karekezi said on Tuesday.

The former APR star came close to joining Al Ahly but the deal stalled after his Norwegian side Ham Kam failed to reach an agreement with the Egyptian giants.

Meanwhile, Haruna Niyonzima has not honored the recent call by the FA to join the national team.

According to Ferwafa Chief Executive Officer Jules Kalisa, the APR midfielder has deliberately switched off his phone probably to avoid being contacted.

"Haruna has just not reported to camp and he lied that he had expressed his reasons which is not true. We have failed to reach him,” said Kalisa.

In a related development, seven other players are not in camp they are: Said Abedi Makasi, who is reported to have flown to Morocco for trials with first division club Difaa El Jadida.

The others are Jean Baptista Mugiraneza and Elias Ntaganda, who are both nursing knee injuries while Labama Bokota and Abdul Uwimana have been given permission to attend to family problems.

Eric Gasana (Mbuyu Twite) and Patrick Mafisango are both suspended for Egypt World Cup qualifier and were not called up to the team.

In their absence, the Atraco pair of Amani Uwilingiyimana and Andre Lomami have been called to join camp.
