Youth Impact Ministry, a subdivision ministry under the Women Foundation Ministries, on Sunday, August 2, concluded a five-day conference about Abundant Life in Jesus Christ.

The youth conference, which attracted many believers and non-believers, was recognized under the theme: "Deciding Your Destiny”.

Folks flocked in Women Foundation Ministries’ multipurpose hall, in Kimihurura to marke the event.

The thriving event was characterized by different events, including testimonies, performances and prayers.

Pastor Mignonne Alice Kabera, a wife to the CEO of Rwanda Cinema Centre, preached to the congregation. She is also the founder of Women Foundation Ministries, and a professional counselor.

Augustine, one of the youth who attended the conference testified that it helped him make a final decision of his life. "I realised that we own the key to the fight against poverty, and that we can be rich if we decided to work harder.”

Miss Tonz, a renown musician, was the MC of the event. While speaking during the event, she encouraged participated to practice what they preach.

She further urged the youth to promote the Rwandan culture and to be proud of it.

"It’s good to learn other languages, but it’s very important to learn and be proud of your own language and culture,” Miss Tonz urged.

The closing ceremony was also attended by the representative from the Ministry of Youth, Gorethy Mukandori.

She urged the youth to practice what they learnt from the conference and to preach it to their fellow youth and to all Rwandans.

In her closing remarks, Mukandori urged the youth to avoid practices, like drugs abuse and prostitution that can ruin thei future, and work harder towards the government’s development.

"You’re the leaders of tomorrow, so you have to avoid anything that can destroy your future,” Mukandori , adding that, "You have to say no to sugar daddies and sugar mumies. To avoid laziness and ignorance and promote the Rwandan culture.”
