Smooth, charming and very talented, DJ Focus is a natural as a celebrity disc jockey (DJ). But now it’s his talent and ability to create energy and control an audience that has qualified him as one of Rwanda’s best DJs.

DJ Focus, whose real name is James Gwiza has been in the limelight, though his character of simplicity confuses many to think that he is an ordinary DJ. He however is a super genius and talented disc jockey, who knows exactly what disco-goers long for.

His talents have not been limited to the Discothèque but have been utilised at very many public and Presidential ceremonies.
Born in Uganda, DJ Focus returned to Rwanda with his family as an adolescent. He speaks English, Swahili and Kinya-rwanda fluently.

Despite his fame, and attractiveness, the 25 year old confesses not to be engaged in any relationship but is instead focussed on his solo career as professional disc jockey.

"At the moment, I’m single and not searching. I’ll let you know when I get one,” DJ Focus told the SundayMag.
