In this post-match interview, Rayon Sports head coach, Francis Haringingo, talks about his team’s performance and gives updates on injured players ahead of the derby against Kiyovu Sports on Thursday, November 11.

The Burundian tactician said that he was pleased with the win against Sunrise, because they played against a well organized opponent and managed to get all three points.

He said: "There is no easy game this time. We played well and dominated the game even if we scored one goal. We are happy for the win against this great side.”

"Sunrise is a dangerous team. We knew that they beat Police and Kiyovu in past games so we came prepared and finally we did it.”

The ex-Kiyovu Sports and Police FC manager also gave injury updates about Onana, Eric Mbirizi, Rwatubyaye, Rafael Osaluwe and Blaise Nishimwe.

He said: "We expect to retain one or two of them. It’s difficult for Mbirizi and Osaluwe to be fit for the Kiyovu game but there are some good chances that Onana and Nishimwe may be back. We will see.”

Haringingo admitted that he is ready to face his former employers, Kiyovu Sports, regardless of all the setbacks his team is facing including injuries.

Rayon Sports maintain their unbeaten run in the 2022/23 Rwanda Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Sunrise FC at the Kigali Stadium on Friday, November 4.
