THE 2009 national women league champion will be determined today. Table leaders AS Kigali face a tricky test against Musanze at Ubworoherane while reigning champions APR entertain Rayon Sport at Ferwafa.

AS Kigali are two points clear of APR but will be wary after what happened to Atraco on Thursday. The taxi-men club squandered their chance to retain the national men’s league title after being held to a goalless draw on the final day of the league.

APR, famous for grinding out results in crucial games registered a 2-0 win over Mukura to lift their tenth league title.
Similar to the men’s league, Ferwafa has placed a trophy at Ubworoherane stadium and Ferwafa’s artificial turf.
