Rwanda’s upcoming R’n’B artist The Ben, is to launch his first album "Amahirwe Yambere” on Saturday, August 1.The former gospel artist, currently in circular music, will launch his 12 song album at Petit Stade.

The concert will feature some of Rwanda’s famous musicians, like Rafiki, Tom Close, Miss Shanel, and Uganda’s former Blu3 group member Cindy, Azion and Jamal.

The Ben’s album, which he named as ‘Amahirwe ya mbere’ consists of songs like his hit track song Amaso ku maso, Rahira in which Liza is featured, Uzaba uza and among others.

The 21-year old featured in Miss Shanel’s song "Wowe Gusa”, and in Tom Close’s "Sinarinziko” hit track.

The Ben, whose real name is Ben Mugisha, joined the music industry August, 2008. He is a First Year student at Kigali Independent University (ULK).

Tickets will be sold at Frw5000, and Frw3000.
