Musanze v AS Kigali

AS Kigali Coach Grace Nyiranumuntu is taking nothing for granted ahead of her team’s final league game this Saturday.
The club, who round off their league campaign with a difficult game against Musanze hold a two-point cushion over reigning champions APR and know that three points on Saturday will crown them champions.

In the build-up to the Musanze game, AS Kigali has upped their training sessions to twice a week as they chase for a maiden national women league trophy. AS Kigali will however miss two key players in Claudine Murora and Sandra Umutoni but Nyiranumuntu is confident her side can still win.

"They are key players for us but we have to forge a combination without them. At this point in time, the league is ours to lose,” she said.  Murora and Umutoni have knee injuries.
