Rayon Sports are tracking Burkinabe striker Allasane Zeba as they seek to beef up their attacking department before the league resumes on February 8.
Fall Ngagne finished the first round of Rwanda Premier League leading the goalscoring charts with 9 league goals but the Blues still feel the need of a backup for the Senegalese striker as youngster Prince Rudasingwa looks likely to take long on the sidelines.
Times Sport can confirm that, aside Ugandan forward Fahad Bayo, one more name on Rayon’s wish list is Burkina Faso striker Allasane Zeba.
The 21-year-old striker plays for Ivorian outfit Stella Club. He signed for the club in November 2024 but he is said to be unhappy at the club and he would welcome a move out of the club should a reasonable offer come on table.
Zeba previously played for the youth team of Belgian fourth tier side KV Mechelen where he netted 6 goals in 19 games before being released in the summer of 2024.
Elsewhere, Rutsiro FC have signed Congolese attacking midfielder Shabani Ndusha Musa on a two-year contract.
The former AS Vita Club player joined Kiyovu SC in July 2024 but he could not play for the club which is currently serving a transfer ban from FIFA.
He has now moved to Rutsiro as he hopes to get time to play.
Elsewhere, AS Kigali are set to announce the return of former captain Haruna Niyonzima in the coming days.
Niyonzima has been without a club since parting ways with Rayon Sports in September 2024 when both parties agreed to a contract termination after the club failed to pay his due signing on fee.
He has been training with the club recently and Times Sport understands that an agreement to sign for the club on a second spell has been agreed.

The Blues unveiled the two players on Wednesday, January 15.
