I am upset with people’s failure to update the changes that Rwanda is making. In the lobby of former Hotel Umubano, Novotel now Laico, there is a beautifully made map that hangs on the wall next to the front desk.

This map still shows Rwanda’s former demarcations and names of former provinces that have been phased out. This is a place which is frequented by many foreigners who, as guest of the country, tend to be very analytical.

If we Rwandan’s can not change, how do we expect others to adjust?The current maps are readily available, the hotel management should pin up an updated map or they should put up a sign saying that the current map is outdated.
