Labama Bokota a.k.a Kamana has finally returned to Rwanda after a stint in DR Congo.

The lethal Amavubi Stars’ and Rayon Sport striker Bokota linked up with the blues during the club’s Wednesday training session.

"He is finally here and is expected to start training today (Thursday),” the club’s vice president John Dukundane yesterday said.

It is said that Bokota’s delay was caused by DR Congo’s Vital FC who were trying to lure him to play for them.

The former Kabasha FC striker joined Rayon back in July for an undisclosed fee.

In his debut season, the 24-year-old notched 14 goals helping the blues to a second place finish in the Primus national league.

He also scored a goal and set up another on his debut appearance for the Amavubi Stars in Rwanda’s final CAN qualifiers against Liberia.

Rayon has already started its pre-season preparations ahead of the 2007/08 season that kicks off on November 17.
