Golf to feature in Rwanda Tourism Week

A golf tournament dubbed 'Golf for Conservation' will be played at the Kigali Golf Park on November 27 (Olivier Mugwiza)

A golf tournament dubbed "Golf for Conservation" will be played at the Kigali Golf Park on November 27. The competition forms part of activities to mark the Rwanda Tourism Week, from November 26 to December 3.

The event will see golfers from within the country and abroad battle for supremacy with a glittering trophy at stake.

The theme for this year's Rwanda Tourism Week is: "Adapting Innovative Approaches to Boost Intra-Africa travel as a drive for Tourism Business Recovery."

Golf is one of the sports which brings lots of tourists into Rwanda. The Kigali Golf Resort is one of the modern parks on the African continent.

The Rwanda Tourism Week is organized by the country's Chamber of Tourism with support from the Rwanda Development Board, African Tourism Board, Visit Rwanda, and others.
