Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) has done a tremendous a job in maintaining peace in the Sudan’s war torn Darfur region.

Special thanks go to Battalion One which has excelled in their performance. The United Nations (UN) has also assessed the performance of RDF and is impressed by the results.

Despite the forces being few, they have executed their duty and that is why more troops were sent to Sudan.

As citizens of this country, we appreciate your effort of maintaining peace in Rwanda, and extending this same privilege to other countries.

Thank you for showing the spirit of unity.
