Continental cycling teams Maystar and Java Inovotec will, effective Monday, January 13, join Team Rwanda at Africa Rising Cycling Center (ARCC) in Musanze District, Northern Province, as they resume preparations for Tour du Rwanda 2025.

The 17th edition of the 2.1 cycling event is scheduled for February 23 through March 2.

Team Rwanda has been training at the Musanze-based cycling center since late November 2024 while Maystar stayed in Kigali as Java Inovotec had taken their training camp to Gatsibo District, Eastern Province.

The three teams take their training camp to Musanze, hoping to adapt to the route which will be used during Tour du Rwanda 2025.

Like in previous years, the 2025 edition will feature long climbs on most stages, including the ascent of Mount Kigali, once again included in the program.

With its 2025 UCI Road World Championship-inspired route, the Tour du Rwanda promises to stand out as one of the toughest races on Rwanda’s 2025 cycling calendar.
