Rwanda has landed an invitation to take part in the ACA Under-15 tournament later this year.

According to an e-mail addressed to the Rwanda Cricket Association (RCA), Rwanda has been invited to compete in the tournament alongside Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

The event is scheduled for December 4-7 in Nairobi, Kenya and the winner will automatically represent the region in the ACA Under-15 tournament later in December 2007 to be held in South Africa.

The tournament’s coordinator Tom Tikolo also stipulated in the e-mail that Rwanda has to part with US$1000 as participation fees. Like for the forthcoming ICC Eastern Africa women’s regional tournament, the ACA tournament will be Rwanda’s first since 2002 when the sport took route.
