Japanese Karate legend Masao Kawasoe has heaped praise on the local Karate federation for the great strides it has taken in trying to develop the sport.
The Grand master, who jetted into the country on Sunday, told Times Sport that the level of Karate was encouraging although he stressed that the technical aspect of the sport needs to be beefed up.
"Rwanda has competed in a number of international events so that in itself is commendable,” the 64-year-old said.
