For lovers of contemporary music, the highly anticipated Revv-Up Experience on December 28 features a number of artists including Nigerian superstar Ruger, known for hits like "Asiwaju" and "Girlfriend."

Its tickets range from Rwf15,000 to Rwf75,000.

Rwanda’s R&B musician Benjamin Mugisha, commonly known as The Ben, is staging a concert to celebrate the New Year with his fans and present to them his new album. The concert dubbed "New Year Groove” will take place at BK Arena on January 1.

With tickets ranging from Rwf5,000 to Rwf60,000, this event promises to kick off the new year in style.

Hip-hop enthusiasts can revel in the X-Mas Happy New Year Party, featuring rising star ZEO and iconic acts like Urban Boys, Nel Ngabo, and Ariel Ways. With performances happening nationwide from December 25 to January 1, it’s a celebration for some corners for the country.

Picnic spots

If you’re looking for a quieter, nature-filled experience, Kigali and its surroundings offer idyllic picnic spots.

Nyandungu Eco Park: Spanning 120 hectares, this park features bamboo-shaded paths, ornamental ponds, and medicinal plant gardens. Entry fees are budget-friendly, with special rates for children and monthly subscriptions available. It’s perfect for relaxation or light activities like biking and scootering.

Gentil Rugema, a frequent visitor, says, "The park is serene, with bamboo-shaded paths perfect for reading or having a conversation.

Utakah Nature Retreat: Located in Masoro, this serene spot is ideal for small events, yoga sessions, and photography, among others.

Mont Kigali: Offering panoramic views of Kigali, this location is popular for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
